Credit Officer職位描述： 
  Position: Correspondent Banking Division Officer (Credit)
Report to: Correspondent Banking Division Manager

Job Summary:
To be responsible for analyzing the financial status of financial institutions (FI), prepare credit applications and propose for new correspondent banks or cancel the inactive ones and develop reports accordingly.

Responsibilities:
• To analyze and make a report on the financial statements of financial institutions (FI) to determine their financial strengths and weaknesses and study the economic outlook for the counties where those financial institutions are located in order to prepare the credit applications on the followings:-
- Evaluate creditworthiness of the L/C (for adding confirmation and packing credit purposes), Standby L/C (for granting credit facilities) issued or accepted by our correspondent banks as requested by our Head Office and branches
- Review and set up credit lines for correspondent banks worldwide
• To evaluate FI’s profile and propose the setting up new correspondent banks or cancel the inactive ones
• To update all types of credit lines in the department’s database system
• To follow up and update financial and rating information as well as news on correspondent banks and news on policies, economic and other relates of concerned countries in the database system
• To maintain and develop database system concerning interbank credit limits and reports in order to monitor the exposure and utilization
• To monitor and check the correctness of the database system concerning interbank credit limits
• To perform other tasks as assigned by Correspondent Banking Division Manager

Job Specifications:
Technical Knowledge
• Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field
• Basic knowledge on Cash Flow Projection

Skills
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English in particular good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Analytical Skill
